Tonight Mathew I'll Be Wearing.

This is what I wore to Frances's 60th.

(Playsuit - ASOS, Heeled Loafers - New Look)

Slide To The Left, Take It Back Now Yo'.

On Friday night I had a party to attend, my friends mums 60th!  The party was held down at the Quay Side in Musselburgh which is a nice venue.  There was a theme and everyone had to have something which was red, I opted for red nails and they were also raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

The party got in full swing when (my fav!) The Cha Cha Slide came on, EVERYONE got up for a dance pulling all the moves out of the bag, the robot, windmill and there was even some Irish dancing.  We all had a cracking time and we were all quite drunk by the end of the night.... I took A LOT of pictures, but I'm not going to post all of them(!).

3 Swallows.

imageYesterday evening I headed into town to meet Lisa to go to the cinema and we took a little trip to Urban Outfitters.  I love this shop and I ended up buying myself a little pressie.... Flying swallows black (set of 3) for my bedroom wall, I cannot wait to get them up this week!  (UO have student discount 10% off and because I gave them my email address I got another 5% aff!).

I Went Shopping Part 3.

Shopping, shopping, shopping!  I LOVE IT!  And I picked up a couple of things last weekend from Primark, New Look and Asda and thought I would share... Yet again!  So here we go:

(2 pairs of sunnies - Primark)

(Hair grips, black skinny belt and love heart tights - Primark)

(Camel turn up trousers -New Look)

(Black turn up trousers with brown belt - Asda)

(Buttoned pussy bow printed shirt - Primark)

(Camel suede heels - Primark)

(Black patent loafers with bow - Primark)

I luff my new stuff!  Sadly they didn't have the dresses I wanted, so I may have to take a trip through to Glasgow and see if any of their Primarks have what I am looking for!

30 Is The New 20.

Saturday night was a night of celebration.  My friend Claire's BF Kevin had his 30th birthday party at Element bar on Rose St., now it was not his birthday until Wednesday, but it was thought best to have it last weekend.  I love Element bar, it's really nice inside, but not cheap therefore I had 3 drinks (I was also working on the Sunday morning and didn't want to go into work with a hangover!).

When me and J arrived it was PACKED, but luckily Claire has reserved a whole section for us, and there was a lot of us!  We drank, we chatted, we took pictures and we ate cake which was delish (can't beat a Nintendo cake!).

Sadly J and myself didn't stay late and got the bus at half 11, everyone else went out after Element and had an amazing time.  At least this weekend I can maybe stay out a bit later.... Got a good one planned!

I've Got Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts.

I sure do love coconuts and when I noticed that Asda had an offer on their n-spa range I jumped at the chance to smell like a coconut!  I picked up the body scrub, shower/bath gel and the body moisturiser, they were only £2 each compared to the £4 that they are normally priced at.  BARGAIN!  I cannot wait to use them, they smell amazing(!) and the packaging ain't to bad either.

On The First Day.

Of my work placement I wore this;

(Cardie - F&F, Body - New Look, Skirt - H&M, Heeled loafers - New Look)

Running about in heels is not fun I can tell you, but I do like to make an effort when working in an office (it's been so long since I have!).  Although, the rest of the week I shall be sticking to my trusty flats!

I am loving my placement, it's fun and interesting, but there is A LOT of work involved, but seeing the finished event is worth while, especially if people have enjoyed themselves.

Swim With The Fishes.

As I have mentioned in an earlier post (Saint Valentines) that I was taking Jaimie to Deep Sea World on Saturday and I did!  The weather was rubbish but that did not dampen our day(!), we got the train through to North Queensferry and popped in to see the fishes.

It was so very busy when we arrived, full of kiddies running around screaming which was a tad annoying, but once we managed to push our way passed all the children we finally got to see all the different fishes, sharks, stingrays, frogs, gecko's and the seals!  We spent a couple of hours there and went round the conveyor belt at least 6 times, topping the last time we were there (which was 5!).  We had a great time and will no doubt go back in another 2 years!  We also went for a little walk down by the harbor and snapped some pics.

After DSW we popped back on the train and headed through to Dunfermline so I could do a little Primark shopping where I picked up a couple of things which I'll feature in another post.

Funny Face.

Yesterday when I was in the gym I started watching a film called Funny Face (1957), staring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire, the film is about a girl (Hepburn) who works in a bookshop gets spotted by a photographer (Astaire) and turned into a model.  Now it was the first time I had seen it and it's bloody good!  A lot of singing, dancing and Paris (All the things I love) and the fashion is amazing.

There is a song in the film that makes me want to go back to Paris, it completely romanticises  the place and so it should as Paris is a beautiful city with beautiful people.  This video will show you what I mean;

Bonjour Paris

If you are ever in need of a good film to watch, watch this.

Marshmallow Lips.

I love Barry M products (I have a few!) and I love this lipstick!  It's called Marshmallow, for obvious reasons(!), it is a very light pink  and lasts for hours.  The great thing about Barry M is that all of their products are of such a high standard and they are affordable.

Coffee Table Books.

Of which I have many!  I love going into a book shop rummaging through all their coffee table books, I have many ranging from 80's adverts to 1000 Nudes.  Now people might find my taste in these books strange, but to me it's normal.  Most of the books I own or buy have been publish by Taschen and there is a reason why, their books are amazing, each one is interesting and the pictures fascinate me.  What you see in these pictures is only a few of my collection but I've not bought any in a while and I would like my collection to grow and grow!

Primark Best Buys.

Now this weekend I intend to do some more shopping, this time in Primark. Unfortunately/luckily we don't have one in Edinburgh and I very rarely traipse through to places such as Glasgow or Dundee just to go shopping there, but this weekend me and the other half shall be going through to Dunfermline for a bit of retail therapy. Now this shall be done once we have had our fun trip (J's Valentines Day present) to Deep Sea World. I have had a snoop at Primarks S/S 2011 Lookbook and have picked out a couple of dresses that I WANT and NEED to buy and I thought I would share them. Hopefully they will be in stock!

I Went Shopping Part 2.

Last Saturday J and myself had a lovely day in town walking around galleries, had a spot of lunch and did a little bit of SHOPPING (my favorite pastime!).  I spent my money in a couple of shops such as H&M, River Island, Past Times, Miss Selfridge and I picked up my top from Topshop during the week and here's a few pictures of what I bought.

(Pillow - Past Times)

(Shirt - Miss Selfridge, Skirt - H&M, Shoe Boots - ASOS)

(Top - Topshop, Skirt - H&M)

(Boots - River Island)

(Dress - H&M)
