Gorgie Farm.

I LOVE this wee farm which is nestled in Gorgie, it's still a working farm and you can pick up fruit and veg from there, which is what me and Jaimie did (their sweet potatoes are delish!).  Thankfully it was a dry day when we went and all the animals were out!

G & A get hitched!

Last Saturday my dad's cousin and his parter of 14 years FINALLY tied the knot!  We were not at the ceremony as they wanted a small gathering, but the whole clan turned up for the party, which was fantastic!  It was held in a suite in The Dome on George Street where we were treated to some champagne and canap├ęs on arrival and throughout the night, there was also a DJ who played songs on request, most of them had been put forward a couple of months in advance.

Now, I like a dance and I was quite surprised to see that Jaimie, my non dancing boyfriend was hardly off the dance floor(!), I'm not sure if it was amount of alcohol that he had consumed or just that he was 'feeling' the music and was showcasing some of his best moves (of which he has very few...), however I was not complaining as we rarely dance together, he even had my great auntie up!
Anyway's it was a fab night for everyone who attended, more so for the grooms and we were all suitably merry by the end of the night!

Review: No7 Colour Calming Primer.

I have A LOT of blotchy red marks on my skin and products such a B.B cream and foundation will reduce the redness but as I had a £5 off voucher for No7 products from Boots I took the opportunity to buy and try the Colour Calming Primer (£11).  Now this stuff is green, so you must be sure to rub it in correctly, otherwise you will look a bit like an alien...  Once you have applied the calming primer let it settle for a wee bitty and you will notice that the redness has calmed down and then you can pop your foundation on top.  A fab little product.

Polyvore Sets.

Doors Open Day.

Now for those not sure as to what DOD is, it comes every September on the 24th and 25th of the month (around Scotland) and on those two days the people of Edinburgh, Glasgow etc get to explore buildings for free that are otherwise closed to the public.  I have been going for a last 3 years with Jaimie and sometimes my mum, it's a fun day out for all ages!  For more infromation on feel free to visit their website Here

This year Jaimie was insiting that we visited Annandale St. home of the wonderful Lothian Buses!  Edinburgh's number one mode of transport.  I only had one day to enjoy DOD and I wasn't sure as to how I would like visiting a bus depot... I agreed anyhoo's and asked my mum if she would care to join us, so we set off to Lothian Buses for 2pm and when we arrived the place was buzzing!
When you walked in you we confronted with all these fantastic looking buses from the 1940's up to present day and the introduction of the new Hybrid bus.  We had great fun wandering around, hopping on and off all these buses, getting and old fashioned bus ticket and getting to go on a bus wash!!!  Now, I am an excitable person, so when I heard news that you could go through one I was at the front of the queue!  Throughout the buses goody bags were placed and inside them were some lovely things; a jar of peanut butter, different types of tea, biscuits, note pad, pencil, book mark that also would become plants when planted (the bookmark was laced with tiny seeds!), we managed to acquire 4, yes 4(!) of these goody bags and there was only 3 of us.

Anyhoo's, I urge you if in Edinburgh when DOD is on and/or Lothian Buses opens it's doors once more GO!  You will not regret it!
And this is what I wore.

Cardie - M&S

Dress - H&M

Booties (Which you can't see here) - Primark
