Weekend In Pictures.

This weekend had been hunners of fun!  Lunch at the Old Bell, took a wonder around the newly refurbished Portrait Gallery and shopping in town on Saturday.  And today we had a long walk up the Pentlands Hills, here are some pictures.  Enjoy!

Pop Couture.

I won!  I won a £20 from popcouture.co.uk just for retweeting, I never win anything so I was super chuffed when I seen that I had won.

Now as you all know, I LOVE clothes so it has been tough trying to decide what I would like to purchase with my £20 discount.  I have narrowed it down to two dresses which I thought I would share with ya'll.  Knowing me I will most likely buy them both...

Ghita Pleated Lace Tea Dress - £25

Latisha Crochet Waistband Skater Dress in Mustard - £13

What I'm Reading: The Red Queen By Philippa Gregory

I bought this book months ago when I was in Norwich and have only got round to reading it! This is the second Philippa Gregory book that I have read, the first being 'The Other Boleyn Girl' which is an amazing read, a MUST!
She has a whole collection of books but this one took my fancy, I should have started with 'The White Queen' as this is a series (The Cousin's War) of books and 'The Red Queen' being the second.  I have only just started reading it so I can't comment too much, but what I have read I have enjoyed.

I will leave you with a synopsis and a picture of the book:

"The second book in Philippa's stunning new trilogy, The Cousins War, brings to life the story of Margaret Beaufort, a shadowy and mysterious character in the first book of the series - The White Queen - but who now takes centre stage in the bitter struggle of The War of the Roses. The Red Queen tells the story of the child-bride of Edmund Tudor, who, although widowed in her early teens, uses her determination of character and wily plotting to infiltrate the house of York under the guise of loyal friend and servant, undermine the support for Richard III and ultimately ensure that her only son, Henry Tudor, triumphs as King of England. Through collaboration with the dowager Queen Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret agrees a betrothal between Henry and Elizabeth's daughter, thereby uniting the families and resolving the Cousins War once and for all by founding of the Tudor dynasty."

Beauty Buys Part 3.

I seem to be buying a lot of beauty products the last couple of months which is a nice change from myself as I'm forever buying clothes and shoes! That said, I still haven't started on my next 'I Went Shopping Part Whatever'...

The photo's are a little dark as I used my phone to take them and there was minimal lighting in my room, so soz for them looking a tad fuzzy.

My Week In Pictures.

Happy New Year!

I know that it's a bit late (3 days infact!), but I thought I best say a BIG and HUGE Happy New Year!

I do hope that you all had a braw Christmas too!

Christmas day was busy as we had a lot of the family round in the evening and our Hogmanay was quiet which was a nice change. However me and my friends are having our late New Year party this Friday evening, I'm very much looking forward to that.

Anyway's, normal blogging will resume as I'm no longer working weekends!
